New Cupcake vase holders!

At long last!

Hi friends:

I guess I should apologize to those who have followed the blog in the past. It seems there were so many other things to do that I let this slip through the cracks. Now that our webpage has been updated and includes our blog addresss, I thought maybe I should get with the program.

What's new?
Well, the website is new. Lori Rowland graciously asked us if she could design a webpage for us as one of her projects for school. I was so excited about this, I am not sure that I waited for her to finish her speal before I said YES (emphatically). This is something that I have wanted to do but not had the money to do it. Talk about a blessing! THANK YOU LORI! If you see her and get a chance, tell her how great it is. She did an awesome job and I would highly recommend working with her if you get the chance.

We just finished up with a fabulous Mothers Day. Thank you for trusting us with your gifts and flowers for mom or a special friend. It is hard to believe that Fathers Day and graduation are right around the corner.

We have received a matching grant from Historic Baker City to complete the painting on the front side of our building. So soon, you will see that we will be getting a facelift! M Wilson Design helped with the color scheme and I am sure you are going to love the fresh, clean look. Coming Soon!

I probably should save some information for later posts. :) Just wanted to touch base with you and let you know we are still going strong.

It's September Already

I certainly can't believe it has been this long since I did a blog. I asked my husband this morning where our summer went. We both kind of laughed and it was definitely a no brainer for us to figure out. We have working so hard on getting the flower shop started at the Sycamore Tree. It will be a full service flower shop. We want to help you with all of your floral needs (weddings, funerals, b-days, anniversary's, and just any occasion). We have a wonderfully talented designer coming in, Denise Harmon. She is anxious to start working and getting the flower shop in order.

So as we are fast approaching fall and all the pretty colors we are going to try and take a breath and enjoy it! Hope that you all had a wonderful summer and we hope to see you in the store.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH

Hey all - We have Sally Moser's art in for just a few more days.

Next month - June we are featuring Lynn Bean. She joined us last June for the motorcycle rally and is coming back this year. She is a nationally known artist for her work on the Trail of the Painted Ponies, placing in the top 10 with several of her horses. Her paintings have just recently been converted to stain glass art. She features a lot of western photos as well as some truly amazing motorcycle art, wildlife, and birds. You won't want to miss all the new work that she has. Please come join us either First Friday or the second Friday during the rally. We will be open from 6-8 p.m. both Fridays!
